Unpredictable behaviour

Children with ADHD can behave erratically and unpredictably.

Their distractibility, impulsiveness, hyperactivity, restlessness and inability to wait their turn can present practical and social challenges in the classroom for both the teacher and other pupils.

If sufficiently disruptive, behavioural problems caused by ADHD can lead to the child's exclusion from the classroom or even ultimately to suspension or exclusion from school itself.
